1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CasualHire ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of service

CasualHire is an online employment marketplace connecting casual job seekers ("Candidates") with businesses seeking casual staff ("Employers"). We provide tools for job posting, candidate search, AI-powered matching, and direct connection between parties.

CasualHire is a facilitator only. We are not a party to any employment agreement between Candidates and Employers.

3. Account registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be 18 years or older to use the Platform
• One account per person or business entity is permitted

4. Points system and payments

Employers purchase points to access candidate profiles. Points are non-refundable and expire as specified at purchase. Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase and may change with notice. All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST where applicable.

5. Candidate obligations

• All information provided must be accurate and current
• You must have the right to work in Australia
• Certifications and documents submitted for verification must be genuine
• You must not misrepresent your qualifications or experience

6. Employer obligations

• Job postings must be genuine and accurate
• You must comply with Fair Work Act 2009 and all applicable employment laws
• Contact details obtained through profile unlocks may only be used for legitimate hiring purposes
• You must not discriminate in violation of Australian law

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Post false or misleading information
• Attempt to circumvent the points system
• Harass or contact candidates for non-employment purposes
• Scrape or copy platform data
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

8. Limitation of liability

CasualHire is not liable for the conduct of users, the accuracy of information posted, or the outcome of any employment arrangement made through the Platform. To the extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the Platform, another user, or how we have handled your personal information, email us at support@casualhire.com.au or write to us at the address below. Tell us what happened and what outcome you are looking for.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and how long we expect to take.

If your complaint is about your personal information and you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au, by phone on 1300 363 992, or by writing to GPO Box 5288, Sydney NSW 2001. You do not need our permission to do this.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
